The HMF Scholarship Fund was established in order to give the opportunity to young talented musicians ages 7-23 to perform once a year at the Young Artists Showcase and win monetary awards based on the amount of money that is available in the fund, in order to further their musical careers. Qualified and talented musicians participated in the premiere of the 1st Young Artists Showcase at Cami Hall on October 20th, 2001 which was broadcast on Radio WQXR 96.3 FM on November 28th, 2001. The 2nd HMF Young Artists Showcase was presented on June 6, 2008 representing 11 talented musicians.

In the words of one of our loyal friends and supporters Pauline Palese "These are the performers that will be filling up all the concert halls around the globe for all the tomorrows to come. What better way to uplift our hearts and souls than with the sound of music!" Indeed, beautiful music enriches our lives and makes life worth living.

We hope that this wonderful tradition will keep on shining for many years to come with your continued love and support!
